Run Run se fuel pa'l Norte

This song is written by Violeta Parra and performed by Francisca Valenzuela.

First of all I want to tell you about Violeta Parra. She was born in Chile and she was the first woman who went to foreign countries to show the chilean folk music, and her art. For me is a symbolism for the chilean women, and the low society. Also she was part of the music that represented social movements as the communism because she was a popular singer.

"Just the love with his science makes us so innocent" - Violeta Parra

Nowadays Francisca Valenzuela is very known for her music, full of love. Some people say that is also feminist music. As Violeta Parra, Francisca's music has international repercussion.

I'm not trying to say that Francisca is the new Violeta, I'm making a comparison between the impact of two women who at their own time made a succesful career that help the female power in Chile that by the way is a male chauvinist country.
About the lyrics... Violeta had a lover who was from France and he run away from her and she was broken hearted because of this. She made a song of this situation and here is the video.
